Welcome to the USS Bergen!
In the aftermath of the Dominion War, the Federation Alliance stands victorious… but not at peace.
Across the Alpha and Gamma Quadrants, the scars of war remain. The Cardassian Union struggles to rebuild, while beyond the Bajoran Wormhole the Dominion has begun to fracture into rival factions. Rogue Founders, isolated Jem’Hadar forces, and collapsing governments have thrown much of the Gamma Quadrant into instability.
As unrest spreads, refugees flood toward Federation controlled space carrying stories of chaos and rumors of new powers rising from the remnants of the Dominion.
Meanwhile, tensions continue to grow between the Federation, the Klingon Empire, and the Romulan Star Empire as old alliances become increasingly fragile and political influence shifts across the quadrant.
Now, with piracy, political extremism, border conflicts, and uncertainty spreading through the frontier, Starfleet faces a difficult reality:
The war may be over… but peace remains uncertain.
Our Mission
The USS Bergen (NCC-64930) is a Norway-class medium cruiser assigned to Border Patrol and Law Enforcement Operations throughout Federation Controlled Space.Operating far from the safety of the Federation core worlds, the Bergen serves on the front lines of a changing frontier. Her missions range from anti-piracy operations and customs enforcement to humanitarian relief, diplomatic escort duties, intelligence gathering, and peacekeeping in contested regions destabilized by the collapse of Dominion authority.
The Bergen and her crew stand between order and chaos in a quadrant where political alliances shift daily and yesterday’s allies may quickly become tomorrow’s enemies.
Our Community
Bergen exists in the Galactic Empires universe and as part of a collaboration between SPC Sims and the 16th Fleet. We are a character development driven collaborative writing group that explores the difficult realities of maintaining peace in a region still haunted by war.

Mission: M0: Confidence
Posted on 25 Sep 2026 @ 7:31pm by Lieutenant Junior Grade Jaxon "Apollo" Amolyae & Lieutenant Commander Antoine Theriot
Lieutenant Commander Antoine Theriot walked into the crew lounge. He found the coffee station. He pulled out a coffee tumbler from the shelf. He picked up the carafe and started to pour himself a coffee. He heard someone approach him from behind. He looked over his shoulder and saw a Trill in operations yellow behind him. He looked familiar but couldn't place it.
Jaxon barely acknowledged the mans existence as he reached over him, tapping a mug to fall from the shelf and catching it with the other hand. "Hey, how about you pour me some when you're done?" he…

"You weren't the only person to spill something on their uniform the other day," the Tellarite greeted the Chief Engineer while she made herself comfortable in his office. She looked around, "Don't worry about yesterday, you don't have to apologize for being 'grumpy'."
"You do understand why I was pissed at you, right?" Apaxi said. His tone was still filled with a deep well of frustration, so much so that the PADD went flying from his hand onto the desk with significant force. "Or do I need to explain my thought process and emotional state to you step by step?"…

Mission: M0: Confidence
Posted on 05 Sep 2026 @ 10:08am by Commander Heather Kowal
Heather stewed for a little while after the Flight Control Officer, LTJG Jaxon Amolyae, left her office after nearly ending up in the brig. She felt that making him do the job he wanted nothing to do with was the best thing for him. Clearly this man needed help and sending him to the brig while satisfying at the moment would probably not actually help him and by all rights he was known to be a fantastic pilot and she truthfully, as his previous CAG also did, wanted him to be back where he wanted to be in a fighter.…

"Lights on. Eighty percent," Lieutenant Commander Antoine Theriot walked through the doorway into his guest quarters. He unzipped his duty jacket and pulled it from his shoulders with both hands. He placed it methodically on the back of the office chair. He made his way to his bedroom. He looked through the bathroom's doorway, seeing his reflection on the holo-mirror projecting himself. His face indicated growth of stubble across his cheek on either side of his goatee and styled moustache. He would require a shave before heading on the next transport back to Starbase 375.
He had been onboard Outpost…

"Kowal to Theriot," Heather said, tapping her comm badge after getting off of subspace with RADM Winchester. She stood from her desk feeling antsy. Moving toward the replicator as she waited for the response from her XO and friend.
"Go for Theriot," Antoine answered.
"Antoine we have orders to get underway as soon as possible to investigate the bouy issue. Please issue a full recall to all ships personnel and prepare to depart as soon as possible. Get back to me with an estimate as to when we will be able to get underway," Heather ordered.
"Acknowledged, Captain. Full recall…
